How old does my child have to be to sign up for Language classes?
WL4K begins for children starting at age 2 and focuses on children in Preschool and elementary

How much does it cost?
Class fees and payment procedures vary depending on location, although classes are generally only
$10 each.  Payment is collected upfront for a full semester at some locations, while at others,
parents may pay monthly payments of $40.
There is also a $20 materials fee due at the time of enrollment. Materials fee may be included in total
price at some locations where payment is due at the beginning of the semester.

What does the $20 materials fee cover?
The $20 materials fee is due at the time of enrollment and it holds a spot for your child in the class. It
also covers the cost of all materials used during the classes, a music CD and monthly newsletters.

Do you offer private lessons?
Yes! If you are interested in setting up private lessons, contact summer@petitfrancais.com to set up
a day and time. Typically, private classes are held at your home or other location of your choosing.
Whether the classes are one-on-one or a neighborhood group, your child is sure to enjoy learning
language!
Pricing for private classes is as follows:
1 child: $20 per class
2-4 children: $16 per child per class
5 or more children: $14 per child per class
(classes are typically 30-45min once a week)

How often are classes held?
Classes are held once a week. Classes vary from 30 minutes to one hour depending on location and
age of students.

Do I have to sign up at the beginning of the year?
No, you can sign up at any time! Since repetition is vital to language learning, it is not necessary to
sign up at the beginning of the year. About half of the class is dedicated to reviewing previously
introduced topics before  moving on to new material.

What are the classes like?
Please click HERE to see a sample class time. While our classes follow the same pattern every time,
no two are the same. Each week is dedicated to a new topic and the lessons have specific learning
objectives. You can click
HERE to see what topics will be covered during the classes.

Why should I have my child learn a different language?
  • Learning any language at an early age is vital to future language development, regardless of the
    language.
  • Learning language early has been shown to improve listening comprehension skills,
mathematical and problem solving skills, increase cultural awareness and acceptance, better
understanding of English vocabulary and grammar and can even increase test scores.

How do I pay?
Please make checks payable to World Languages 4 Kids and return to your school's director. At
some locations, there are envelopes dedicated to WL4K payments.

How do I get WL4K into my child's school?
We are constantly growing and adding new locations! The best way to get WL4K into your child's
school is to have your director contact me for more information. Talk to other parents to see if they
would be interested...most locations only require 3 students as a class minimum!

Are you hiring?
WL4K is now hiring French and Spanish teachers for the spring semester and summer programs.
Teachers must be fully bi-lingual and have a passion for teaching! If interested, please submit
resume to:
