| Offered as an after school activity, WL4K gives elementary aged children the opportunity to learn a language in their own school. Most of the schools where WL4K offers classes, no foreign language classes are offered during the school day. Taught in a fun and exciting way, elementary school is a great time to start and continue with language learning. During this important developmental age of a child's life, children learn other languages quickly and retain the language longer. Studies show that learning another language improves listening skills, critical thinking skills, creativity, mathematical problem solving, and can even increase test scores!
